Indigo is located on the Eastern shore of Ambergris Caye in the exotic and magical country of Belize. Tucked quietly south of the Yucatan Peninsula, Belize is a tiny,
peaceful, democratic Central American nation with a “Caribbean” soul. The people of Belize are warm and friendly. English is the national language. Come with a
suitcase, leave with a smile – return as soon as possible!
As you can see from the map below, Belize is an easy flight from major hubs in the US. Less than two hours flight time from Miami, and just over two hours from
Houston. You can also arrive via Cancun, Mexico (flights from Cancun to Belize began July 2009).
Hourly flights from Belize International Airport serve Ambergris Caye (15 minute flight time). Boat transportation from Belize City to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye can also be arranged.

Ambergris Caye is the largest of the islands off the coast of Belize. It is about 26 miles long, affording the visitor with seemingly endless stretches of palm‐fringed
white sand beaches on which to walk, picnic, cycle and relax. The Belize Barrier Reef is visible from the entire Eastern shore of Ambergris Caye. It’s easy to reach
and astonishing to explore.
San Pedro is the island’s only town. Ample services can be found there – fine (or funky) food stores, entertainment establishments, galleries, gift shops; many
excellent dive/tour offices; and health‐care facilities. San Pedro is a scuba diving mecca and has Central America’s only hyperbaric chamber. Day trips to most
mainland destinations can also be easily arranged, departing San Pedro in the morning and having you back on the beach on Ambergris Caye by sunset.
Indigo is approximately 5 miles north of San Pedro in a former coconut plantation called Mata Grande. Close enough for convenience but light‐years away from the
hustle and bustle. Indigo is accessible from San Pedro by road, beach or (our favourite) by boat. Near Indigo can be found high end homes & villas, and some of the finest
(low density) boutique resorts in the country. Walk to fine dining and dive shops; kayak to the reef; snorkel, swim and fish from the pier or shore. Do it all or nothing at all – the choice is yours.
Barefoot elegance, carefree living. Indigo Belize – where the blues get happy.
